Tabletop Multiparameter Device Prototype Successfully Developed

February 02, 2019

Access Tech has successfully developed the prototype for its tabletop multiparameter physiological monitor. The prototype acquires and analyzes ECG, pulse, and respiration waveform signals, and measures heart rate (HR), breathing rate (BR), HRV, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and blood pressure (BP) by virtue of biosensors like touch electrodes, nasal cannula, brachial cuff, and SpO2 finger clip.

This prototype has been developed by integrating Access Tech’s proprietary biosensors and analog interfaces with National Instruments (NI) myRIO module that runs NI’s LabVIEW software. A custom enclosure has also been designed and developed for this prototype. The prototype runs on a 12V rechargeable battery and streams all physiological data wirelessly to a laptop running a graphical user interface (GUI).
